Statement of purpose
The purpose of SOP is to indicate strong interest of people of India to get their ward admitted in Kendriya Vidyalaya all over the country. Kendriya Vidyalaya are the pioneering establishment in the field of modern education system. Kendriya Vidyalaya are working under the guidance of KVS an autonomous body governed by Ministry of Education Govt. of India. The admission Guideline serves the purpose of better education to a child who is admitted in Kendriya Vidyalaya anywhere in India. A child is free to carry on his education up to class twelve anywhere in india.as the syllabus is the same throughout the country. Kendriya Vidyalaya No.2 Raipur is one of the units of KVs which is situated Sector 4, DDU Nagar , Raipur Chhattisgarh. KV No.2 Raipur provides education to children from Balvatika-3 to class XII (Science, Commerce and Humanities stream). The Vidyalaya runs in one shift. More than Two thousand five hundred students are getting their education with the high profile faculties in each stream. Kendriya Vidyalaya No.2 Raipur looking for its highest achievement in the field of modern Education. It is the most important part of the SOP. The school focuses a lot on the career guidance in a planned way each step thoroughly. Different kinds of extracurricular activities, games and sports, projects, club activities, student council, independent project work, participated in any event associated with NGO work, apart from academics are being imparted for the all-round development of the students.
